Pakistani students who are willing to study in United Kingdom (UK Scholarships) after their graduation completion in the fields of engineering, science, technology and business management which can’t be availed in Pakistan.
The University of Strathclyde is offering applications for Pakistan 50th anniversary fund for postgraduate taught programmes. Pakistani students are especially eligible to apply for this scholar ship. The main purpose of the scholarship is to promote and encourage academically able students from Pakistan.
The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish research university situated in Glasgow, United Kingdom (UK Scholarships). Formed in 1796 as the research Institute, it is Glasgow’s second-oldest university, with the institutes receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK’s first technological research institutes.Students must have completed for their degree at the time of application and obtained a first class degree or equivalent.
- Applicants must be unable to pay their study in the UK. Authentic evidence of financial certificate as indicated below must be provided.
- Applicants must have already obtained their degree at the time of application and have secured a first class degree or equivalent to it. They must be available to commence their academic studies by the start of the UK academic year in September 2017.
- Candidates must be completely fluent in written and spoken English to pursue their academic career immediately.
- Candidates must have nationality of Pakistan and must be permanently resident of Pakistan and mustliving there at the time of application.
Scholarships are available for after graduation taught programme.
Students will be awarded for one-year study in m.phil/m.s courses. Preference will be given to subjects in the areas of engineering, science, technology and business management or any other subject which cannot be pursued probably in Pakistan.
The scholarship will acquire the total costs of the student’s study in Scotland, including traveling allowances to Glasgow and return home, maintenance and other allowances. No additional charges will be paid for a spouse or other dependants.
English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
How to Apply: Students must submit the requestedinformation of family income and supporting documents and affidavits. Applications without supporting documents affidavits will not be entertained. Send complete and fulfilled applications by email preferred in PDF form to pakistan-scholarship-at-strath.ac.uk. Students must also apply for acceptance on a postgraduate course at the Institutes. Students who have not made an application for a postgraduate course will not be entertained for the scholarship.
